Q: How do you remove the mildew from the (grey) fence?
A: I use a bleaching solution.
Q: What type of pressure is used to remove the "grey" from the fence?
A: I use 40 psi (low pressure), equivalent to a garden pump sprayer.
Q: Why do you bleach, not power wash?
A: Power washing ruins the integrity of the wood of the fence.
Q: What type of stain do you use?
A: I use a commercial stain called wood defender.
Q: Is the stain made locally?
A: Yes, Mansfield, TX
Q: What does the oil do to the fence?
A: It gives oil back to the wood. This prevents chipping, cracking and discoloration.
Q: How much product do you use to spray a fence?
A: I use approximately 1 gallon per 150 square feet of fence. The perfect amount for a great looking fence!
Q: On a new fence, how long should you wait to stain it?
A: The recommended time is six to eight weeks, this gives the wood time to dry, it's called curing.
Q: How long does the whole process take?
A: 1 - 2 days, depending on weather conditions.
Q: How long has this process been used?
A: This process has been used for over 20 years!
Q: What is the life of the stain after it has been applied to a fence?
A: Approximately 2 - 3 years depending upon the stain.
Q: Is the work guaranteed?
A: Yes, I guarantee the color stain on your fence for 18 months.

A: No, I only do the work myself and at times with a helper. I have been trained and certified by WoodDefender®.
